My October and November Reads, 2013

Book StackMy reading this year has been very erratic at best, and the last two months have not been very productive as far as opening books go. In fact, I haven’t done any leisure reading. At all. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

I have plenty of excuses, of course. October and November have been quite busy. But the fact remains that I finished the last book I read, The Mad Scientist’s Guide to World Domination, on September 23rd, and the the last short story I read, Cancer (from the Machine of Death anthology), was finished on September 27th.

What now?

Well, I plan to finish up Machine of Death as well as the October, November, and December issues of Clarkesworld Magazine. And just because I haven’t been reading does not mean that my “To Be Read” stacks haven’t been growing. I picked up a few (few = more than a few) books at the Collingswood Book Festival this year, and also brought home some books from The Book Asylum, my favorite local used book store.

Wish me luck!
